Call for Volunteers!

Call for Volunteers: Western Regional LGBTQIA Conference 2011 at UC Berkeley.

Please fill out this volunteer interest form

In its 21st year, the Western Regional LGBTQIA Conference seeks to empower and educate queer students by means of workshops, speakers and social events. It seeks to spark dialogue about the critical issues facing the queer community today and the path towards full equality, tolerance and acceptance. It truly is a remarkable program which helps to inspire and mold the future leaders of our community. This year’s theme is Unchecked Boxes: Faces behind the Labels.

The conference will be held March 4-6, 2011 at the University of California, Berkeley. With conference attendance to exceed 800 people, we are seeking volunteers interested in helping for the 3 days of the conference, conference set-up, and to serve on chair committees.

Please fill out this volunteer interest form if you would like to get involved in any way.

Full commitments for the spring semester are not required at this point and will be confirmed at a future date. We highly encourage all members of queer and allied communities to get involved in any way they can contribute. Currently, we are actively seeking volunteers for REGISTRATION, PROGRAMMING, and LOGISTICS committees.

For inquires regarding volunteering and getting involved, please contact the volunteer coordinator at WR2011.volunteers@gmail.com.
