Workshop Deadline Extended to December 12
WR 2011 Workshop Proposal Application
EXTENDED DEADLINE: December 12, 2010
Greetings Prospective Facilitators!!! We are very excited to host the Western Regional LGBTQIA 2011 Conference at UC Berkeley.
Our theme this year is Unchecked Boxes: The Faces Behind the Labels. With this comes a desire to transcend the categories in which individuals are often placed. Our goal for these workshops is to reflect this idea and be as interactive and engaging as possible. While workshops do not have to directly reflect the theme, please keep the it in mind when forming your proposal.
All workshops will be 1 hour in length. Preference will be given to workshops that fit into the vision of being as interactive, life-enriching, transformative, and empowering as possible. Upon selection of your workshop proposal, confirmed facilitators will receive a notification email that will include a separate registration form at a discounted conference fee and an assigned session time for your workshop.
All facilitators will be responsible for their own lodging for the duration of the conference, and we will be unable to provide honorariums. All applicants will receive notification between November 30 and December 4, 2010. Thank you and good luck!
